Teams ready for NL Trust U11s Cup

By Slough Town Supporters Trust, Nov 3 2019 02:29PM

Ahead of this Thursday's National League Trust U11s Cup local tournament at Arbour Park, we can reveal the schools that have signed up.

We will be hosting two tournaments at the home of Slough Town on Thursday afternoon starting at around 1pm, featuring a girls tournament and a boys/mixed tournament. Our thanks go to Club secretary Kay Lathey for working so hard to organise the event, and to E Sargeant and Son who have sponsored the tournament alongside the Trust to cover the cost of the ground hire for the second year running. The Trust will be covering other costs including medals and trophies.

As was the case last year, we have 10 boys/mixed teams and 6 girls teams. The boys/mixed tournament will be split into two groups, with the winners of each group playing off in the final, while the girls teams will play in a single group with the final being played between the top two teams in the group.

Last year's champions Priory and Lynch Hill have returned for another chance at representing Slough Town FC at the regional round in the New Year, along with a combination of new and returning schools. In 2018 we had 52 goals in the girls group and 80 in the boys groups, so we're hoping to plenty of goals again this year.

We wish every team the best of luck and hope that they enjoy the experience of playing at Arbour Park.

The schools that have entered are as follows:

Claycots: girls and boys/mixed

Our Lady of Peace: girls and boys/mixed

Lynch Hill: girls and boys/mixed

Ryvers: girls and boys/mixed

Priory: girls and boys/mixed

Godolphin: girls and boys/mixed

Willow: boys/mixed

Marish: boys/mixed

St Anthony's: boys/mixed

Langley Hall: boys/mixed
